The Sean Finnegan controversy concerns a fight that took place between BLACKB0ND and then IGN editor Sean Finnegan. The incident stemmed from false claims by the IGN editor who on an episode of an IGN podcast inferred that it wasn't possible to capture and record game-play footage when gaming on PC, the point being that this was one thing consoles, more specifically the Xbox One had an advantage in. This was of course not the case and BlackB0nd responded with a video that once posted to Reddit wound up going viral and becoming his biggest hit.

In response to the controversy Sean had a spat with BlackB0nd on twitter and eventually blocked him after receiving a tirade of hate from the PC gaming community. BlackB0nd followed his initial video up with another referencing the issue and eventually put the issue to rest, leading to a discussion with other member on the WWP about the credibility of gaming journalists and whether they were really as important as they seemed.
